David Ellefson (Ex-Megadeth) Announces Another European Leg of “Bass Warrior Tour”

0

Megadeth‘s former bassist David Ellefson may not be a part of the band anymore (for understandable reasons, I guess) but that hasn’t stopped him from diving into certain pools from his heydays in the band while on his “Bass Warrior Tour” with his solo band. He took the tour to Europe last year, and he’s taking it back there for a fall 2025 edition.

Along for the ride will yet again be Italian guitarist and longtime collaborator Andy Martongelli, but direct support will also come from Screaming Mad Dee and Calhoun on all dates. Wardogs, the Italian Ramones cover band, will join the bill for the show on December 4.

Ellefson said this about “Bass Warrior” x Europe, the sequel:

“It’s been a super fun and productive year and even more so to be able to close out the calendar one last time with my ‘Bass Warrior’ shows across Europe. I’m excited to be taking this show into new cities as we celebrate each night with songs from across my career and more!”

When the “Bass Warrior Tour” was first announced, Ellefson very emphatically proclaimed:

“I’ve approached my career as that of a musical warrior, always accompanied by my bass guitar. I eagerly anticipate bringing these songs back to the stage, while sharing introspective and entertaining anecdotes about their creation. It’s been a wild ride of low notes and high stakes!”

“Bass Warrior Tour” Fall 2025 dates:

11/30 – Bilzen, Belgium @ South of Heaven
12/01 – Düsseldorf, Germany @ The Pitcher
12/03 – Velden, Austria @ Bluesiana
12/04 – Pordenone, Italy @ Capital
12/05 – Cremona, Italy @ Music Factory
