Urne Share New Single “The Spirit, Alive”

If you yearn to feel the burn of Urne, then you’re in luck. The London-bred band have shared the third single to come off their upcoming record Setting Fire to the Sky, titled “The Spirit, Alive.”

London modern metal band, URNE, – Joe Nally (bass, vocals), Angus Neyra (guitar), James Cook (drums), and Kurtis Bagley (guitar) –have released a new single, “The Spirit, Alive,” taken from their forthcoming studio album, ‘Setting Fire To The Sky.’

Joe Nally, Urne’s vocalist and bassist, said this of the new song:

“We are proud to present ‘The Spirit, Alive’, the third single from our upcoming album Setting Fire To The Sky. This was the very first track we started writing for Album 3. From the beginning, we knew we wanted this record to feel uplifting; this track became a gateway to that vision.

“This song is about hope, the human spirit, and a fire that never goes out – what better time to release it than Bonfire night?! Listen to this loud and keep the spirit alive!!”

Setting Fire to the Sky is set to come out January 30, 2026 via Spinefarm. Produced by SikTh co-vocalist Justin Hill, mixed by Johann Meyer (Silvercord Studio), and mastered by Tony Lindstrom at Fascination Street Studio, the record also has a guest feature from Mastodon’s Troy Sanders.
