That Avett Brothers and Mike Patton Collab to Tour the U.S. Next Year
Remember that project Mike Patton’s got with The Avett Brothers? Their album AVTT/PTTN came out today and alongside that release, they announced a string of tour dates scheduled for next spring.
Set to kick off on March 28 at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee and coming to a close at Waukegan, Illinois on June 20, the tour will span 21 stops. Along the way, they’ll make stops in Louisville, Kentucky; San Francisco, California; Phoenix, Arizona, and many more.
Aside from the tour news, the band will also have a run of promotional events in New York City this month to push the project’s self-titled release. There will be an album signing at Rough Trade on November 24, an “Evening With” performance with comedian Eric Andre on the 25th, and a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on the 26th.
