Dethklok and Amon Amarth to Co-Headline the Aptly Named ‘AmonKlok Conquest Tour’

0

Another day, another major 2026 tour announcement as the year winds down. This time around, we’ve got a bill of powerhouses, as viking metal stalwarts Amon Amarth join forces with Dethklok for a tour they’re calling ‘The Amonklok Conquest.’

Set to kick off on April 15 in Phoenix, Arizona and coming to a close on May 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the tour will run for nearly two dozen stops across the United States and Canada. Stops include Kansas City, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal, Denver, and a list of other major locales.

Speaking of the tour itself, Amon Amarth as a whole said they were stoked to share the stage with Brendon Small and company of Dethklok.

“Three bands. One night. The strong will scream. The weak will fall. Limbs will be lost. We will crush skulls beneath our boots and tear the halls down stone by stone. This is not a concert. It is a reckoning. If you survive… perhaps the gods have other plans for you.”

Similarly, Brendon Small explained how important the upcoming tour was for himself and Dethklok, since 2006 marks the 20th anniversary for both the band and its TV show, Metalocalypse.

“We have to celebrate our 20th anniversary. And what a killer way to do it, with Amon Amarth and Castle Rat, who embody theatrical heavy metal… We’re going to entertain you as hard as we possibly can with the power of heavy metal in many kinds of ways, and many different iterations — from Viking battleships to Castle Rat to Dethklok with our music and fast-paced, insane animation. We challenge ourselves to get in as much material without wearing out our welcome. We also get to be funny.”

For tickets to this tour, the Citi presale has already kicked off and will run until Thursday at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, December 12 at 10 a.m. local time. You can find the full list of tour dates below.
