Crown the Empire’s Hayden Tree Leaves Band After 15 Years
Crown the Empire seem to seep members on a bi-yearly schedule. This time around it’s Hayden Tree, a founding member of the band who’s handled bass, guitar, and screaming backing vocals at different points during the band’s tenure.
The Texas metalcore act made the announcement yesterday, December 9, in a post that included a video of memories. It’s said that Tree is departing to understandably spend more time with his family, so I guess we can’t hate on him for that, since he’s literally been in the band since they formed in 2010.
Crown the Empire said the following along with the heartfelt montage of a remembrance video:
“After 15 years of touring the world together, Hayden has decided to step away from the band. It’s been an amazing ride together, love you so much brother.”
So far, a replacement for Tree hasn’t been announced. Hopefully they’ll find someone soon.
