Necrotted Release New Single ‘Zeitenschlächter’ Featuring Mental Cruelty’s Lukas Nicolai
Seems there’s a trend going on with Necrotted and the last couple of singles they’ve served up. As was the case with “Deus Ex” and “Fat God”, the German deathcore band has once again tapped someone else for a special guest feature on their latest single “Zeitenschlächter”. And this time around, they got Mental Cruelty’s Lukas Nikolai on the track.
Released earlier today, the song is just as brutal as you’d expect, only with the added layer of Nikolai on the vocals side. An interesting thing about this track, however, is the fact that it’s got both German and English language lyrics.
According to the band, the song is about a “godlike, ancient being that exists beyond space and time and has been amusedly watching humanity destroy itself for centuries. Wars, betrayal and suffering are its pastimes. It is neither good nor evil – just the relentless echo of transience itself.”
There’s no news about a new Necrotted album, but I wouldn’t be shocked if that was coming in the new year. Just check out the track below for now.
