Ex-Fear Factory Frontman Burton C. Bell is Recording His Solo Album

Two years ago, we began hearing some new solo music from ex-Fear Factory frontman Burton C. Bell’s forthcoming album. All three releases were industrial, obviously, and I think it wasn’t much of a stretch to think that we’d hear of an album or something by now. Yet here we are in 2026 and we’re now learning that he and his band are in a studio, recording new music.

In a post shared on Instagram, a quick video was shared of Bell’s guitarist/bassist Henrik Linde laying down his part on a song. From what we can hear, it’s groovy and definitely heavy on the low end, so that’s something. I guess you know what you’re gonna get from a project helmed by Burton.

As of right now, that’s all we know. They’re recording the new music and we’ve already gotten three singles from Burton’s solo project. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for Fear Factory to release an album with Bell’s replacement Milo Silvestro behind the mic…
