Watch: Killswitch Engage and Anthrax’s Joey Belladonna Team Up for Live “Holy Diver” Cover

Killswitch Engage’s 2006 cover of Dio’s “Holy Diver” may go down as one of the best metal covers of all time. KsE’s version gained such widespread notoriety that I’ve heard plenty of stories of kids who thought they wrote track. Which is understandable: it’s fucking great, and KsE nail the cover.

So: Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna joined the band for a live rendition at the Philly stop of the current Killthrax tour on April 5th. The vocals on KsE’s original cover were, of course, performed by Howard Jones, but Belladonna and Jesse Leach combine to do a fine job here. Watch below:
