Fred Durst is Returning to the Silver Screen with Role in New A24 Flick I Saw The TV Glow

Between Limp Bizkit‘s music videos, his work as a director, and even his appearances as a bartender on House, nu-metal dad Fred Durst is no stranger to the camera. It’s with that in mind that it’s not really all that shocking that he’ll have a role in an upcoming A24 sci-fi/horror thriller flick I Saw The TV Glow, which is set to release next Friday.

As you can see in the image above provided by IMDB, Durst’s character Frank looks like he’s seen better days. It’s a little weird to see the guy bald and without his signature baseball hat, but that’s Hollywood, baybee. It’s all magic.

Here’s a synopsis of the movie’s plot according to IMDB.

“Teenager Owen is just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen’s view of reality begins to crack.”

You can check out the trailer below. Honestly, it looks pretty interesting, with Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine starring. It’s also great to see Big Pete Wrigley and Little Pete Wrigley from The Adventures of Pete & Pete (otherwise known as Michael C. Maronna and Danny Tamberelli, respectively) getting work in 2024.
