King 810 Shares the Title Track of Their New Album “Rustbelt Nu Metal”

Modern nu-metal band King 810 recently offered a gritty look at the American rustbelt through the release of their new single and its accompanying music video, “Rustbelt Nu Metal.”

Featuring on their forthcoming album of the same name, the new single’s video features glimpses of provocative images and snippets of visuals aimed at questioning the current state of the world. The video also features live footage of the band performing the song in front of an audience of about 50 people.

Lyrically, “Rustbelt Nu Metal” is a politically-charged phenomenon. It talks about the opioid epidemic, race, gender, social issues, and war. It’s a witty track and a big fuck you to the system we currently live in. Vocalist David Gunn sings:

“Welcome to the rustbelt, where the heroin & the junk dealt. Its bout survival, let my rivals feel my gun belt… K holes swallow up fuckin 8 year olds, case closed color blind bullets. Go fuck your race code.”

Speaking about their new single, King 810 vocalist David Gunn says:

“RBNM was recorded live on the spring equinox 3/23 in one day in front of a studio audience of 50. There are no samples, keyboards, synthesizers, click track/metronome used in recording. Give this many listens and many views and we will reconvene with our collective thoughts on the matter. Very truly yours, KING 810.”

This August, the nu metal band is hitting the road for a headline UK and EU tour, in support of their forthcoming album.
