The Callous Daoboys to Give Fans a Chance to Hear Their New Album Early
There’s something exciting about getting to hear new music from one of your favorite bands ahead of schedule. Even though I’ve been in this job for a couple years now, I still get amped when I get to listen to something months ahead of time. It never stops being cool as hell.
The Callous Daoboys are looking to extend that sense of excitement to their fans next week, as they announced today they’ll be hosting an online listening party for their new album I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven via Bandcamp next Wednesday. The event will take place at 8 p.m. EST on the band’s Bandcamp page, so be sure to bookmark that page for future reference.
Looking back at the singles they’ve already put out from I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven, this definitely feels like the band’s taking a different approach with this one. Yes, it’s still bonkers and chaotic, but there’s a more melodic vein coursing throughout. It’s not just all panic chords and D20-based time signatures.
I Don’t Want To See You In Heaven will be available on May 16 via MNRK Heavy, but you can preorder this one right now.
