Within the Ruins Drop Instrumental Version of ‘Phenomena II’, Announce U.S. Tour Dates

Massachusetts metalcore dudes Within the Ruins have unveiled an instrumental of their seventh studio album, Phenomena II. Out via MNRK Heavy, the band use the record to take listeners on a journey through 11 captivating songs. Today, they also announced a short list of U.S. tour dates with Novada deathcore quartet Ov Sulfur.

Last year, Within the Ruins announced the release of Phenomena II, alongside their cut-throat track “Castle in the Sky,” with an accompanying music video. Today, the band has bounced back with an instrumental version of Phenomena II, adding a new layer to the record.

Speaking about this new release, Within the Ruins bassist Paolo Galang said this release was a chance to give fans that didn’t initially pick up the album a shot at hearing this version.

“Instrumental versions were initially included with our Phenomena II vinyl releases. We’re stoked to finally share these versions to everyone else who couldn’t pick up a copy. We know Within the Ruins fans love a good instrumental! Make sure to grab tickets to one of these August shows and let’s hang out!”
