Disturbed’s David Draiman Proposes to Girlfriend On Stage During Concert

There’s nothing like a little romance to go with your daily dose of hard rock, I guess. Last night (May 9), Disturbed‘s David Draiman made his girlfriend, Sarah Uli, the happiest lil ham of the night by proposing to her on stage. Watch the adorable video of his proposal here on the band’s Instagram.

Disturbed went through just about their entire set at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California before the mood switched. Draiman brought Uli on stage before they began their second-to-last song “The Light”. The choice of song was intentional, of course.

As he pulled her close to him, he said:

”Sarah, my love, you have made my life so much better. You are the light in the darkness for me. I love you more than anything I have ever loved in this world, and it would be the absolute pinnacle of my life and my existence…”

Draiman then reached into his pocket to retrieve the tiny ring box before he did the damn thing by getting down on one knee. He then asked the obvious: “Sarah Uli, will you marry me?” and, with a teary eye, she excitedly nodded.

He put the ring on her finger before turning to the crowd and saying “In case you didn’t hear, she said ‘yes’,” before seeing her off and saying “Go ahead and join the rest of your family, sweetheart.”

Love is legit so fucking gross, but I guess this was pretty cute. Congrats to these two lovebirds, who have come down with a case of the love sickness.
