Blackbraid Announce North American Tour with Lamp of Murmuur and Dödsrit
Black metal’s going to be pretty well represented on stages all across North America later this year, as indigenous black metal outfit Blackbraid is gearing up to head out on a headlining tour and they’re bringing some heavy hitters.
Set to kick off on September 18 in San Diego and coming to a close on October 11 in Los Angeles, the 19-date run will feature stops along the way in Dallas, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, and more.
The run will be in support of Blackbraid’s forthcoming album Blackbraid III, due out on August 8. In addition to the prospect of hearing those new tunes live, the tour also includes supporting acts Lamp of Murmuur and Dödsrit. For the two Canadian shows, the tour will feature Gudsforladt on the bill.
Ahead of the album’s release and subsequent tour, Blackbraid will be hosting a listening party for Blackbraid III during this year’s Fire In The Mountains Fest. As for tickets to the Blackbraid tour, those will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
