Faster Pussycat Singer Taime Downe Opens Up About Fiance’s Death
In early March, the tragic news of Taime Downe’s fiancé’s death hit the tabloids. The news shared that his partner was killed instantly after falling overboard on a cruise, and subsequently to her death.
As you can imagine, the Faster Pussycat singer has been taking all the time he needs to gather his feelings. However, in a turn of events, Downe has spoken about this news for the first time in a recent conversation with SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk radio show.
He says,
“It’s a roller coaster. I’m hanging in there. I’m just taking it a day at a time. And everybody thought going out on the road and doing what I do and being with my family in my band would be good for me. So I’ve taken their advice and [I’m] doing this.”

He also touches upon his sobriety following his loss. “There’s no way I’d touch booze. For me, that’s just completely disgusting in my brain.”
He continues,
“I loved the hell out of Kimberly, and it was just hard to deal with. We spent basically nine years together. I don’t wanna get into what her psyche was at the time, but there’s a lot of things that make up people’s lives at a certain time of their life… It’s been hard on everybody.”
