Attila Cancel Entire European Tour After Landing in Berlin, Promoters Say Band Went “Radio Silent”
Attila have canceled their entire European tour without notice, according to festival promoters and emails from their own team. The band was scheduled to headline the Bordel Na Dunaji festival in Slovakia on August 2, but reportedly stopped communicating altogether after arriving in Berlin.
Loud Farm Booking, the agency handling the festival, shared a post on Instagram Stories (translated from Slovakian via Lambgoat) along with a screenshot of an email addressed to an employee named Igor. Their statement paints a picture of total radio silence and abandonment on the band’s part:
“Our Saturday headliner Attila will not perform…
“The reason is that the band stopped communicating with management and the agency after arriving in Berlin. The tour was ready, the driver waited with the bus all day in front of the hotel, while the band decided not to communicate and suddenly canceled the entire European tour, even though they were already in Europe with the whole crew…
“Unfortunately, at this moment we have not been able to find an adequate replacement for a band like Attila. We know that many of you were looking forward to this band, but their reckless decision to cancel the entire tour at the last minute is something we can’t fix at this moment…
“The only compensation we can currently offer is a 50% discount on a Sunday ticket to everyone who bought a ticket for Saturday—so that at least you can enjoy proper headliners on Sunday…
“We deeply apologize for these complications, we’ll make it up to you next time.”
An accompanying email—allegedly from someone within Attila’s touring team—backs up the promoter’s version of events and suggests the band cut ties without speaking to management or crew:
“Sadly I have some bad news to share with you. Attila flew into Berlin yesterday afternoon to start their European summer tour today. Sadly we received the news earlier today that the band decided to cancel their full tour shortly after arrival, due to an ‘issue’ with their bus. Their bus supplier provided a perfectly workable solution for them to start the tour as planned, but the band made up their mind and one-sided made the decision to cancel the full thing, without speaking to us nor to their own manager.
“Both their management and us have been trying to get a hold of the band throughout the day to discuss and work out a solution for a non-existing problem. but sadly all members have been radio silent and nobody has been able to have a proper conversation with them.
“fIt has become clear now they have no intention to still do this tour (even though they still flew to Berlin just yesterday) and are 100% cancelling all shows, without talking to anyone in their team nor providing clarification for promoters. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience caused here, and wish I could provide you with more insight in their situation.”
As of now, Attila haven’t posted anything publicly about the cancellation. Comments were turned off on Loud Farm Booking’s Instagram post, and the band’s Facebook is restricted to users who have followed them for over 24 hours. Their official X (formerly Twitter) account has been inactive since 2024.
There’s been no new music from Attila since last year, and this sudden vanishing act has only added to the silence. No replacement headliner has been announced for the Slovakian festival, and the situation has left fans across Europe frustrated and without answers.
If Attila do return to the stage again, they’ll have some serious explaining to do.
