System of a Down Add Another London Show to European Dates
Just days after announcing their first European tour in eight years, nu-metal titans System of a Down are following the same playbook they used in their North American playbook and adding another London date to help satisfy what should be an absolutely bonkers mad dash for tickets.
Ticket sales to the general public haven’t even started yet for the European run, but System Of A Down added a second night at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, July 15, just two days after their Monday, July 13 show at the same venue. The show will once again feature openers Queens of the Stone Age and Acid Bath.
There’s no word on if any additional dates will be added to any of their other stops, which include Stockholm, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Dusseldorf and Warsaw, but I wouldn’t rule that sort of thing out. Looking at the schedule that’s already in front of them, there are certainly a couple days between each date that could allow for a second date at each stop, really.
As it stands, the tour is set to take place from June 29 in Stockholm, Sweden to July 18 in Warsaw, Poland.
Tickets for this European run of shows will go on sale to the genral public this Friday, September 19 at 12 p.m. local time. Presales from both Queens of the Stone Age and Acid Bath started at noon today, while System of a Down’s artist presale started yesterday at noon local time, but you had to have signed up prior to this past Monday.
