Machine Head’s Robb Flynn Joined Powerwolf On Stage at Louder Than Life
Over the weekend, thousands of folks flocked to Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky for a couple days of loud music and good times. One of the best parts about this sort of festival is the opportunity to sometimes see a set you weren’t expecting or a collab that wasn’t on your radar. What we’ve got here is safe to say that it definitely falls in the latter category.
During German power metal outfit Powerwolf‘s set, they got none other than Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn to hop on the mic and share vocal duties with vocalist Karsten “Attila Dorn” Brill. What you got in that moment was a melding of worlds: the almost operatic power metal realm and the more traditional heavy metal dominion collided into something special for the fans at Louder Than Life.
