Cave In’s Stephen Brodsky to Release Album of Acoustic Hardcore Songs

0

Yes, yes and, once again, yes. Whenever Stephen Brodsky, who plays in a grip of shit but you likely know him as the lead vocalist and guitarist in both Mutoid Man and Cave In, picks up that acoustic guitar, you know you’re in for a treat. Especially since he typically does covers of hardcore familiarity. If you seen him live, you know exactly what I mean. If you haven’t then rejoice in the news that Brodsky is planning to release these covers in a new compilation.

Brodsky has tackled quite a few songs in the process. He’s reimagine songs by Converge, Sense Field, Texas is the Reason, and other bands he’s found particularly influential. He’s planning on also doing a serious of intimate performances to celebrate the release.

He shared:

“Hey, so remember all those acoustic hardcore covers I did earlier this year? They’re gonna be released as a collection (more on that soon) and I’m playing some shows to celebrate

“First show is at a camp site inside a cabin in ROWLEY MA. And I think there’s only 70 tickets available. It’s a great spot – played there years ago at the very first @wearyourwoundsofficial show.

“Date is NOV 1st – less than a month away… sorry to drop this on you so last minute, in a world where these things are usually planned like 18 months in advance. There’s a QR code on the admat to grab tickets – hope to see you there!”

If you want to try your luck at snagging a ticket, scan the QR code Brodsky shared in the post.
