Rush Continues to Add Tour Dates to Previously Announced Locations
In one of the most obvious things to happen regarding the Rush ‘Fifty Something’ tour, the band added even more dates to its itinerary. And just as expected, those dates come in the form of second shows at the 17 cities announced in the previous update and an additional Mexico City gig for good measure.
Rather than rattle off all the new dates and whatnot, you can find the full list of shows below with each of the new dates demarked as such. Just know that cities like Philly, Boston, Seattle, and so on are getting second shows.
In a video posted earlier this week when they announced the initial 17 additional stops, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson said the additional shows were the result of extreme fan interest in catching them live.
“We are blown away from the response to the announcement we made a few weeks ago that we’re going back on tour. I cannot tell you how surprising and overwhelmed we are and the way you guys have welcomed Anika Nilles. It’s been very heartwarming, and I know that she’s very appreciative of that. We’re even more excited to get back on stage and play with her and to go through the plethora of songs that we’re planning.”
Fans looking to get access to one of the newly added shows will have to sign up to partciipate in an artist pre-sale by tomorrow at 11:59 p.m. ET. There’s no code needed, since your access will be tied to that account. The pre-sale will then begin on Monday, October 27 at 12 p.m. local time in the U.S. and Canada, and Wednesday, October 29 at noon local time in Mexico. Ticket sales for the general public will start on Friday, October 31 at 12 p.m. lcoal time for the U.S. and Canada, and Thursday, October 30 at 11 a.m. local time for Mexico.
