Philly’s Getting Double the Grind: Pig Destroyer Announce Two Shows to Close Out 2025

December’s going to be a hell of a month for metal shows in 2025, as it looks like once again everyone’s trying to close out the year with killer gigs. And for all our grindcore fans out there living in or around the greater Philadelphia region, it’s going to be a particularly good month, as Pig Destroyer announced a pair of shows that you won’t want to miss.

On December 13 and 14, Pig Destroyer will bring their iconic brand of grindcore to the City of Brotherly Love with a pair of headlining shows at Johnny Brenda’s. To the uninitiated, that might sound like some mob front, but I can assure you it’s not. (I’d like to keep my kneecaps…) Both nights at the totally above-the-board venue will feature different opening acts, with the first showcasing Deadguy and Intercourse, while the second night will feature Malignancy and Chepang.

It’s going to be a weekend rager that might be worth the trip even for our more out of town friends. Just come out early, get yourself some good eats, and then demolish yourself in the pit for one or both nights.
