Biohazard’s Evan Seinfeld Says He Made More Money Doing Porn Than Music, Shocking No One

Listen up, gooners. If you want to be somewhat famous among a niche group of fans, two options you have in front of you is either starting a hardcore band that eventually becomes a staple in the genre or start fucking on film. Sure, there are other ways to gain notoriety, but for Biohazard bassist Evan Seinfeld, he took both of those paths and he knows which one’s the more lucrative of the two…

“I made more money in the first three years of the porn business than I made in 20 years of playing in Biohazard. At the time, there was no Pornhub. People were paying for it, and sex is the most primal instinct we have.”

You may recall that in the early 2000s, Seinfeld began shooting porn with his now ex-wife Tera Patrick. Us oldhead internet jockeys have a good chance of remembering who Patrick is, so it’s very likely we’ve inadvertently (or purposely if you’re into that sorta thing) seen Seinfeld’s dick. It just is what it is.

While chatting with Metal Hammer, Seinfeld discussed that time in his life, explaining that he decided to start shooting porn with Patrick as a means of making some decent cash while boning his pornstar wife. He also lucked out since back then porn was an industry that hadn’t yet had its business model gutted by sites like PornHub that give away content for free.

“It was entirely unintentional because I met my second wife, Tera Patrick, who was a huge star, and we fell in love. She said, ‘My fans want to see me make movies, so if you would be so kind…’

“The truth is, I’ve always been kind of an exhibitionist, and it was an interesting experience. I did that for many years and I enjoyed it, but I took it very seriously.”

Seinfeld porked on pornos from 2001 to 2009, which just so happened to be the year he and Patrick divorced. After that happened, he ultimately made the site “IsMyGirl,” which was an online platform that allowed amateurs to sell their own adult content directly to people that enjoy it.

Since then, Seinfeld has been in and out of Biohazard, having stayed in the band until 2011 and then coming back in 2022 after the band reunited following its 2016 disbandment. The band has since gotten back together with their original lineup and relased Divided We Fall earlier this month.

At least Seinfeld knows that if things don’t pan out with this iteration of the band, he’s always got something to fall back to…
