Milwaukee Metal Fest Moves Dates to Early June to Accomodate a Headliner
Next year’s Milwaukee Metal Fest might feel slightly different for regular attendees. The festivities will still be held at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and it’s still going to host a laundry list of badass acts, but as organizers announced earlier today that they’ve pushed the dates back into June for the sake of an unnamed headliner.
According to festival organizer and Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta, the decision to push next year’s festival back a little bit was well worth the potential headaches such a move could cause attendees.
“One of our headliners was only available on June 5th and we could not pass up the opportunity to have them at ‘Milwaukee Metal Fest‘! It just so happened that another headliner also became available on the same weekend. Win win! Its gonna be the best weekend ever!”
Previous years saw the fest generally taking place in mid-May, so this change is really only by a couple weeks. That being said, people who already purchased early bird packages are going to have to make new accomodations since their old tickets will still be honored or seek a refund from martyrstore.net.
As for who’s playing the fest? We don’t know at this point. If they’re talking about dates, we may be getting close to an announcement of the first batch of bands, so definitely keep your eyes peeled.
