Dimmu Borgir and Behemoth to Co-Headline an European Tour Next Fall
One hell of a touring package was announced not too long ago that’s going to make our non-European readers jealous as fuck. Of course, I’m talking about the newly revealed Dimmu Borgir/Behemoth co-headlining tour that’s going to rampage across Europe next fall.
Set to take place from October 9 in Zurich, Switzerland and coming to a close on October 30 in Copenhagen, Denmark, the tour will see both co-headliners and supporting act Dark Funeral hitting some major locations along the way. Naturally that includes stops in Milan, Munich, Paris, and Stockholm, just to name a few.
Touting the planned run as a hell of a black metal showcase, Dimmu Borgir expressed their excitement for what’s coming in roughly 10 months’ time.
“It’s been a few years since we’ve done a proper European tour, and what a great way to get back out there—teaming up with our brothers in Behemoth for this massive European run. We’ll be bringing a brand-new show with us, and we can’t wait to share our next chapter with both new and familiar faces.”
Naturally, Behemoth frontman Nergal had to chime in on the announcement:
“Legions of Europe! We decided to outdo ourselves and bring the biggest black metal package ever assembled. Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir and Dark Funeral historic… biblical! Let’s get evil as fuck!”
Tickets will go on pre-sale this Monday, December 1 at 10 a.m. CET, while sales to the general public won’t start until Wednesday, December 3 at 10 a.m. CET. You can find the full list of tour dates below.
