HANABIE. to Release New EP ‘Hot Topic’ Next Month

Japanese ‘Harajuku-core’ act HANABIE. will be starting 2026 off with a bang, as they announced earlier today that they’ll be dropping a new EP titled Hot Topic on January 28. The release will preceed the band’s North American tour with Nekrogoblikon and Enterprise Earth in March and April, so I’d expect to hear some of the new tunes on that run.

According to the band, this collection of tracks will feature them “at their most heavy, chaotic and catchy to date.”

The aforementioned tour will start on March 13 in Boston and come to a close on April 11 in Los Angeles. Along the way, they’ll make stops in New York City, Philly, Atlanta, Montral, Toronto, Chicago… The list is really just every major city in the region.
