Metallica Share a Live Video of “The Day That Never Comes” from Their Recent Show in Bahrain

In recent years, metal bands have been able to finally begin playing the Middle East as governments lighten restrictions and sentiments soften on metal in the region. Sure, there are some countries that are VERY anti-metal for their supposed connection to Satanism, but that’s not the case everywhere. Case and point is the Kingdom of Bahrain.

For the first time ever, Metallica played a show in the Kingdom of Bahrain on December 3 at the Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre. To mark the occasion, Metallica posted some live footage of them playing “The Day That Never Comes” off their 2008 album Death Magnetic. You can check that out below.

As it stands, Metallica’s looking like they’re taking some time off from the road before heading back out there for a run through Europe next May through July. You can find the full list of dates from that run below.
