Temptress Take Things to the “Edge” with Latest Single
Fuzzy, psych rockers Temptress are back with a new single off their forthcoming album hear, titled “Edge”. And just like their past output, it’s doomy, grungy, post-rock that grooves.
Set to release on January 23 via Blues Funeral Recordings, hear is Temptress’ sophomore full-length offering. Speaking of the album itself, the band said described it as a “deeply personal” offering this time around.
“This album as a whole is deeply personal, with all of us equally putting our hearts and souls into the songs. It has a different feel than our priors and shows our growth and different influences, tripolar if you will.”
As for the track and the video that you can check out below, “Edge” deliberately takes on a pared down feel that highlights the three women of Temptress.
“The video gives a parallel to the song theme while showcasing the women of Temptress. It’s a psychedelic trip with a style reminiscent of nostalgic era music videos and a fun look at what a night of getting ready in a greenroom could entail.”
In addition to the album’s impending release, Temptress have a long list of tour dates coming up. You can check those out below.
Temptress’ new album hear will be released on January 23 via Blues Funeral Recordings, but you can preorder your copy today via Bandcamp or directly from Blues Funeral Recordings.
