Watch Two Thai Dudes Almost Burn the Place Down Cooking and Covering “Chop Suey”

Sometimes a video comes across my main page on YouTube and the thumbnail is so outrageous that I just have to click it. So you could imagine my shock and immediate interest when I saw a video promising what looked like one dude cooking with a HUGE flame while singing and a drummer in the background covering a System of a Down song.

The song was “Chop Suey”…… because of course it was.

What followed when I hit play (and hopefully when you do too) is two minutes and 48 seconds of unadulterated and arguably hyper-flammable/dangerous musicianship from a “delicious rock” group named TORWAI. I imagine they’re called “delicious rock” because their profile page includes other videos of them cooking and performing music.

But this time in particular looks pretty explosive, as the wok they’re using catches fire twice during the performance, with the second time causing the dude cooking and singing to dump the contents because the fire got too big too fast. The slight moment of panic as things go a little haywire… I would have shit myself on camera.

But they kept on going! You gotta respect that commitment to the bit. So give ’em a view below and be amazed no one walked away with severe burns.
