SARAH PALIN: STILL NOT METAL

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008 at 12:00pm by Axl Rosenberg

Just moments after telling a third grader that the vice president is the president’s “team mate” who “runs the senate,” Sarah Palin makes one last attempt to win votes from the metal community – and fails.

    I have seriously contemplated starting a “Metalheads for Obama” website.

    I do think, however, that this would have been a great Caption Contest

    As my name suggests, this woman should have been terminated a long, long time ago in a galaxy known as her mother’s womb. WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING?

  5. DeathMetalDave says:

    Ok, are some of you that dumb that you think Palin is really attempting to flash horns at a campaign rally? As opposed to say something much more logical like this: http://www.cafepress.com/signsoflove. I think irrational hatred is blurring your senses of reasoning.

  6. iolanach says:

    If Palin gets near the Whitehouse, the entire world will hate Americans even more, (if that’s possible)

  11. koOPa says:

    She’d have a better chance if she showed us her tits

  12. @pluto: Hey, don’t forget to add Al-Qaeda to your pro-McCain/Palin map in the link. They just gave a ringing endorsement to the Republican ticket today.

  13. Iron Mayden says:

    @Corey Mitchell:
    Since when did we start giving a shit what Al-Qaeda says? They also want the unconditional destruction of all the Jews in Israel. These guys are lunatic assholes. They can support Mickey Mouse for all I care. Besides, this is probably a way for them to encourage people to vote for Obama.

    Al-Qaeda knows damn well that if they increase violence in Iraq or anywhere else that the United States has a military presence before the election, it would only help John McCain win. The general consensus amongst most Americans is that McCain is a better Military Leader and a large surge in violence would only make voters wary of Obama’s lack of military expertise.

    I am surprised that you would use what Al-Qaeda says to back any opinion. I hardly doubt that when Obama becomes President, Al-Qaeda will become less violent or more willing to negoiate. In fact, they will probably go ape shit and starting blowing shit up again as soon as this election is over no matter who becomes President.

    Don’t believe the Terrorist just because they tell you want you to hear.

  14. @Iron Mayden: Since when did we start giving a shit what Al-Qaeda says?

    Hmmm, since September 11, 2001. Of course, if our president had bothered to read the PDB of August 6, 2001, entitled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the U.S.,”, things might have gone quite differently.

    And by your rationale of this Al-Qaeda act of supposed reverse psychology, I guess that means that April 2008 endorsement of Obama by Hamas, that John McCain and his campaign trumpeted so loudly, was really an endorsement for McCain.

    Don’t forget about Osama bin Laden’s threatening videotape released just four days before the 2004 election. According to John McCain, it was “very helpful” to George W. Bush and his bid for re-election.

    Anyone else notice the look of sheer contempt on Bristols’ face?

  16. CrapMcPoopin says:

    Spider-Man is pretty sure he’s voting for Palin.

  17. RaZZo says:

    Well, she was either trying to say “I love you.” or maybe going for the surfer-vote with a the old “hang loose” sign….

    Or since she’s doing it with both hands, maybe she was trying to shoot some webs to sling herself outta there, Toby McGuire–style….

    Or perhaps, she was showing her support for Gene Simmons in the RonnieJamesDio/Gene Simmons “I created the Devil sign” Bruhaha.
    (BTW – Gene Does it wrong — If yer thumb is out, you ain’t throwin’ goat!!!!)

  18. RaZZo says:

    then there’s always THIS!!!!! hahahahahaha

    @Corey Mitchell

    I’m glad to see there’s someone out there paying attention. According to McCain when Hamas endorses Obama they are true to their word but when Al Qeada endorses McCain it’s really just reverse psychology. Unfortunately that logic still makes more sense than the McCain brainfart that is this stupid bitch.

  20. villanj1 says:

    Axl,
    Read The Constitution, buddy. It’s not Palin who’s ignorant here…

  21. Anthony says:

    I love the look her daughter is giving her. It says “You’re so not-metal, mom.”

  22. Iron Mayden says:

    @Corey Mitchell

    I am certainly not putting a lot of stock in what Hamas or Al-Qaeda says and maybe my post was mistaken for a Pro-McCain attack on Obama. McCain is an idiot for touting Hamas’ “support” for Obama in front of the American people….tactics like that are a large part of the reason that he is trailing Obama so much.

    I think that these terrorist groups just say stuff to try to get Americans to start arguing amongst themselves rather than worry about what they are really up to.

    Also, I agree that Bin Ladin’s tape helped Bush win the re-election. For some reason, Americans felt Bush could protect America. This is precisly what I would like to see end. When we start giving people like Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, or Hamas a voice, it legitimizes them and makes people make bad decisions.

    I don’t care what candidate they support. It’s not worth listening to what they have to say.

  23. If anyone is throwing horns like that, you’re doing it wrong. There is no thumb involved.
