SO THAT’S WHY SO MANY PEOPLE LEAVE DUMB COMMENTS ON METALSUCKS

Thursday, December 18th, 2008 at 12:55pm by

Australia’s ABC News reports that two researchers from the University of New South Wales have published a study which concludes “that head-banging to a typical heavy metal tempo could cause mild traumatic brain injury or concussion, and neck injury [Well duh. -Ed.], particularly as the tempo of the music and angle of movement increased.”

“Clearly it’s a serious issue,” said Associate Professor Andrew McIntosh, demonstrating little to no grasp of what actually constitutes “a serious issue.”

“If you observe people after concerts they clearly look dazed, confused and incoherent, so something must be going on and we wanted to look into it,” McIntosh continued. When asked if he’d ever heard of “beer” or “drugs,” he looked somewhat confused before declining to comment.

Giving yourself a concussion is pretty metal

HURR DURR HURR so should I wear a flameproof asbestos suit when I cook some bacon?

Leave it to Assistant Professor McIntosh of Captain Obvious University to solve one of life’s greatest mysteries! This whole time I thought it was a poor quality education system and an overall inability to comprehend simplistic concepts in society as a whole that makes people unintelligent. Alas, I was wrong! It turns out it was that dastardly metal all along. Well done, McIntosh… well done.

ladies and gentlemen this is what high doses of weed and large consumptions of alcohol does to you……

“When asked if he’d ever heard of “beer” or “drugs,” he looked somewhat confused before declining to comment.”

Probably because he’s so high/wasted the first thought was, if anything (since his brains most likely fried), “Is this dude a cop?” And probably from coming to the paranoid conclusion that he most likely is and feared for his life, that he finally declined in order to save his own ass. LoL

I think instead of waiting outside to see how people are after the concert, you might actually want to take a step inside (if you’ve got the balls), and depending on which concert your at, you’ll most likely come out dazed and confused without, even once, banging your head….

    ;)

I saw this dude on tv thismorning, he said that headbanging got its name because people used to bang their head against the stage..

The people on the news believed him. It boggles my mind how fucking stupid people in the mainstream actually are.

Maybe we should all just listen to clay aiken and give up on free thought and our own ability to choose what style of music we enjoy.

  • Anthony

Metal: The Only style of music that requires physical injury in order to enjoy it fully.

  • Raging Skull

He wasn’t confused after that question, he just couldn’t believe that someone was actually asking a question that stupid. Haha, seriously……”why no, what is this ‘beer’ and ‘drugs’ that you speak of. These are words I’ve yet to hear in my life….please, tell me more.”
