VINCE NEIL: STILL OBLIVIOUS
Friday, January 30th, 2009 at 10:14am by Vince Neilstein
Am I the only who finds Vince Neil’s recent statement that when playing live he tries sing as true to the records as possible completely ludicrous?
You have to really enjoy what you’re doing and try to deliver the songs to the people out there the way they want to hear it. I try to stay as close to the records as possible because I hate going to see a singer who sings it differently. It drives me crazy.
I guess the operative word here is “try.” Anyone who’s seen Vince Neil perform live knows that when he isn’t holding out the mic over the audience to let the crowd do his job for him, his completely winded fat ass is half-assing his way through every third word.
When asked for comment on the matter, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee simply said, “Yeeeeahh boooyyyy!”

Typical Motley Verse live. Quoted words sung by Audience
Whoa “Yeah” Kickstartttt heart “Whoa, Yeah!” babyyyyy “Whoa yeah” kickstart heart starttt “whoa yeah” babayyyy
It’s too bad people still give this jackass money. Then again, at least he’s not on a shitty reality show like Bret Michaels.
Is it just me, or is that Mickey Rourke in his new role as a washed up fat bastard musician?
When Cruefest came to Portland a couple years ago a radio station had recorded the concert and was playing sound bytes of vince’s “singing” for the sole purpose of making fun of it because it was soooooo bad. He sounded like a squirrel.
Do you guys remember a few years back when Vince did this mini-series type thing (most likely on VH1) that documented his facial reconstructive surgery (i.e. the motherfucker got a face-lift), and after the procedure he looked the exact fucking same? Its almost WORSE then Rock of Love….almost….
It’s not about giving this guy money, it’s about the opportunity to win anything you want, by killing a member of tourmates, Hinder!
Motley Crue is a waste of soundwaves these days.
well if by singing as close to the record as you can by, not singing 3/4s of the songs then yeh, hes doing it REALLY closely!
