Hey hey hey kids. In honor of the fact that it’s a) 4/20 and b) just one day before the release of Dååth’s awesome new album, The Concealers (read my review here), we’re teaming with the band to give away some special shit that I am now legally obligated to tell you is for tobacco use only. Seriously. One of you will win a bubbler and one of you will win a bowl, both bought and paid for by Dååth guitarist Eyal Levi out of his own pocket and the goodness of his heart, and you are not to use these items for anything other than the smoking of tobacco. Also, remember that God hates it when you masturbate.

And that’s it. Eyal will personally select one winner, who wins the very cool bubbler, and MetalSucks’ own resident Song to Get Stoned To expert, Mr. Kip Wingerschmidt himself, will select the second winner, who gets the bowl.

    Honestly it’s hard for me to pick one song it depends on mood if I want to chill and mellow out I got to what I grew up on, which is not metal, but Pink Floyd is there, and so is the Mahavishnu Orchestra… Other than that if I want to listen to something heavy but still has melody to keep me slightly mellow, but also have some agression like what I need for art probably anything by Acid bath at this point… but um if i had to pick a song I guess it would be Scream of the Butterfly… I am not sure why, but it always seems to get played… Wow that longer than I anticipated…

    i don’t have a favorite song to get high to, per se, but i do have a favorite album to get lit up to… “exploiting dysfunction” by cephalic carnage. something about the tones and frequencies they use just go straight to the worst part of my brain… like some kind of twisted terrance mckenna or steve roach experiment. if i pack up the bowl or the bong before i hit play, and start with “hybrid,” fire up the bowl, kick back and close my eyes. by the time the song “expoiting dysfunction” draws down to a close, the whole earth feels like it’s been turned upside down. that album takes me into outer space like nothin’ else i’ve ever heard. rocky mountain hydro grind, indeed.
