EARTH CRISIS BURN DOWN THE HOUSE
Monday, May 11th, 2009 at 11:12am by Axl RosenbergWe’re up to our eyeballs in work here at the MetalSucks Mansion, which is why we’ve been kind of behind on reviews. To wit: the new Earth Crisis album, To the Death, which we think is totally excellent, and haven’t had any time to give a write-up. Shame on us.
What we do have time to do is post the band’s kick-ass new video, “To Ashes,” which was directed/shot/edited/everything else by our favoritest extreme music auteur, David Brodsky, and his team at My Good Eye (And by “team,” I pretty much mean Allison Woest.).
Is this the first ever hardcore/metal video to be “based on a true story?” I honestly can’t think of another. Maybe Ron Howard will buy the movie rights…

Thank God they didn’t target a pot farm. This is actually a pretty killer video and song by one of the few good hardcore bands…ever.
As far as videos go, that was pretty badass.
best band in hardcore out today…
Im not Sxe but i defintly rock this shit cuz the music kicks ass…
these guys are sick…sick video….
He burned down a Meth-Lab. He wins. Good video, good music.
I didn’t know Dave Attell was burning down meth warehouses.
Good riffage.
Great video, great song, great band.
Never have liked the whole straight edge thing but Earth Crisis i have always enjoyed and that is a good damn song and i like that video. I think it’s cool as shit that guy was burning down crack/meth houses….even told the drug dealer to quit selling to his brother or he would be sorry…flipping awesome. He totally went Michael Douglas in that movie Falling Down.
Even though I met these guys years ago and they were complete dicks, I have to say that was a cool video and song. I guess I’ll listen to the record now.
