Just a teaser, but still, something to look forward to today. Axl and I were just lamenting (1st world problems!) how 2009 is only 3/4 of the way through and it’s already gonna be hard to choose our Top 10 lists, and with The Great Misdirect dropping October 27th it’s not gonna get any easier.

      That’s like saying a metalhead has to like Dio or Black Sabbath! There are plenty of metalheads out there that don’t enjoy either. I, for one, do not enjoy BTBAM.

    I had always considered this band as an average, skronky mathcore band taking cues from Botch, DEP etc. At the urging of a few people on this site, I took a listen to COLORS and realized I had been very, very wrong in my estimation of this band. Suffice it to say that I won’t be waiting until three years after the release to give the new album a few spins.

    It’s up now. I guess all I can take from the teaser is that there is at least four minutes of quality material on the new album. Some interesting sounding almost carnival music section in there. All in all, leaves me wanting more.

    very cool. i had never really had an opinion of BTBAM until just a few weeks ago, when a friend of mine got me to give them a chance, and needles to say, i was not disappointed. these dudes are fantastic. can’t wait to see them in raleigh tomorrow!

    I used to think this band was boring as shit, and then I picked up Alaska and my opinion surely changed. Colors rocks, and this new album sounds very very good, and yet they still stuck to their formula and keep it amazing. Ahhhhh what a year!
