MARCH IS METAL MONTH IS UNDERWAY!!! And as Vince promised last week, there’s a free sampler now avail featuring artists from many of the participating labels. That means you can download tracks by Fear Factory, Ihsahn, Triptykon, Suicide Silence, Lacuna Coil, Queensryche, White Wizzard, and more, all for the cost of breathing.         i know something better, yesterday i took a huge dump, and as i gazed upon my colossal lump i noticed the birth had given life to an unholy demon. Amazed at my asses shit-making prowess i reach in and grab it with my hand, squishing it through my fingers, relishing in sadness at the destruction of my beautiful vehement creation. only then did i realize what it was like to listen to 5 finger jack off hand or band that needs to commit “suicide” and forever remain “silent”.

        also, it feels need when it squishes through your hand. its like how jello turns to liquid when you swish it through your teeth, turds turn to diarrhea

    Some of the tracks are FUCKED UP anyways…half way through a couple of them it goes to a loud pitched BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. And the Suicide track is only 1:17 seconds long….FUCKING LAME!!!!!!!

    That’s a ridiculously bad compilation. Not sure how Queensryche fits into March Metal Month, but it’s by far the best track on this garbage.

    Yeah, I’ll probably download it when I get home from work but the list of bands doesn’t get me too excited.

    I noticed however while looking for this amazon has another free sampler available from The End Records for download called “amazon metal sampler”. Its got my favorite Sigh song off their new album for free at least. Listening to a few of the samples I don’t think all the bands are really metal but they sound more interesting than some of the bands on the March is Metal Month sampler.

    The digital market has territory license rights and limitations just like CDs. Since these labels/bands are backed by EMI/Caroline as an exclusive US distributor, they probably don’t have global rights to distribute these tracks outside of the Americas.

    Hmmm so heard about this and went to try and download the Southern Lord sampler with some quite cool bands on it, only to find that it can’t be downloaded by non-US citizens. I then sat back ready to bitch very loduly and then realised within a day it’ll probably already be up on the internets elsewhere. So no huge problem.

    Just go through a U.S. Proxy, and sign up with a new email acct while through the proxy. Then you should be able to download it. Thats how I downloaded the Trivium “Slave New World” cover (only available in the U.K.) even though I’m in the U.S.
