I got to see him in 2003. I never thought that would be the only time. RIP Dio…..

I’ve seen him live two times, with Heaven And Hell…it was mighty impressive!

I went to his memorial service at Forest Lawn last year. It was awesome. Just a bunch of metal heads gathered to celebrate an amazing influence.

I was just listening to The Very Beast of Dio over the weekend, I didn’t even realize it was a year now. Fuck, now I’m sad…

It doesn’t feel like it’s been a year at all. I didn’t even realize that it had been. I bet he’s teaching the folks in the afterlife a thing or two about fashion!

HORNS UP!
Joe
Unreal that its been a year already. I am glad that I got to see him live at least once before he died with Heaven and Hell. About a year before that I bought tickets to see his solo act with Priest & Motorhead but forced to drop everything to help my deadbeat sister move. But I digress, Dio may be gone but the music still lives.
RIP
Matt
RIP DIO!!!!

Dio was one of the main reasons I got into metal in the first place. Dio-Sabbath was the first Sabbath I heard and I was hooked. The metal world will never see another like him RIP
