The Chariot, Katatonia, I Am War, Grave and others all released new records last week, so today we look at how those and others fared in the marketplace.

3 CHARIOT – ONE WING
Last week: 4,853 (debut)

Their last record, Long Live, sold 2,589 copies first week when it came out in 2010. Either The Chariot have written the record of their career, Good Fight’s partnership with eOne is paying incredible dividends, or both.

10 KATATONIA – DEAD END KINGS
Last week: 3,310 (debut)

Don’t know what their last record did first week, but 3.3k strikes me as a pretty good number for this band in the U.S. I’ll bet they do even better in certain European territories.

12 DARKNESS – HOT CAKES
Last week: 2,548
Cume: 11,825

Still kinda shocked The Darkness can still move units, but what can I say: the new album is good.

35 I AM WAR – OUTLIVE YOU ALL
Last week: 1,234 (debut)

You folks got really angry about my assessment of this band, which tells me that I was right.

45 BARONESS – YELLOW AND GREEN
Last week: 973
Cume: 25,589

Slips past the 25k mark. Incredible! And deserving.

49 OBEY THE BRAVE – YOUNG BLOOD
Last week: 955 (debut)

59 GILLAN & IOMMI – WHO CARES
Last week: 863

I think “who cares” aptly sums up this album’s sales, amirite???

72 LAST VEGAS – BAD DECISIONS
Last week: 567 (debut)

82 GRAVE – ENDLESS PROCESSION OF SOULS
Last week: 545 (debut)
