Adam Warren is Sensitive
Oceano’s Adam Warren has launched a touchy-feely acoustic project with some dude named Travis Nosalski, and you can listen to two of their songs below. I don’t like it — not because it’s touchy-feely acoustic music so much as it’s just not my kind of touchy-feely acoustic music (I loves me some Phil Ochs, and I don’t care who knows it). It seems like the kind of act that would probably on tour with John Mayer or Jack Johnson or some other dude I’m pretty sure is totally just doing this to get laid (hey, there are worse reasons to do things).
That being said, I do like it a lot more than I do Oceano… which, granted, is not the the highest bar to jump, but still! And I’m impressed that it seems as though Warren can actually sing — there is not an abundance of autotune being used here as far as I can tell. I guess what I’m saying is, maybe it’s possible that there’s a world in which Adam Warren does not make music that’s so terrible that I wanna get my hands on the masters and bury them deep at the bottom of the sea, next to The Blob and Megatron.
