Listen to the First New Failure Song in 18 Years
Apparently I’m in the minority of Failure fans who prefer Magnified over Fantastic Planet (read the comments at that link). Ah well, no biggie, let’s not squabble — let’s unite and celebrate the fact that Failure just released “Come Crashing,” the first new song they’ve put out since 1996! It comes from their new EP Tree of Stars — available only on their current reunion tour — and I quite like it! It sounds just like what I’d hope new Failure would sound like: rich, big, expansive, catchy and Ken fucking Andrews. If the whole EP (and possible eventual album?) sound like this I’ll be a happy man.
