Opeth - Main Pub - Lo ResOpeth die hards with don’t live on the East or West Coast: I hope you have some vacation days saved up! ‘Cause the Swedish legends have just announced two very special shows to commemorate their twenty-fifth anniversary — one on October 22 at the Beacon Theater in New York, and on on October 24 at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. Each concert will feature two sets, one of which will be a performance of Ghost Reveries (which turns ten this year) in its entirety, and the other of which will be a “career spanning” mix of classics.

You may recall that the band did something similar for their twentieth anniversary, only with Blackwater Park instead of Ghost Reveries. That show was AWESOME, and there’s no reason to believe these ones won’t be as well.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 1  at 10:00 a.m. local time. HOT TIP: keep your eyes peeled to MetalSucks’ Facebook page for details of an EXCLUSIVE pre-sale! Who loves ya, baby?
