PRINCE Was More Metal Than You’ll Ever Be — The Smart Metal Show, Episode 12

The Elitist dedicates episode 12 of The Smart Metal Show to discussing the passing of Prince, a true legend of his time, who, contrary to what haters on the Internet have been saying, was undoubtedly very, very metal. And here are just some of the choice words he uses to pay tribute to the purple one:

Every time I hear another All That Remains song I’m reminded that virtually all of our heroes are already dead. And not long after we will soon fade into a pit of computer-generated darkness with computerized drums — at least they can keep in time and they won’t sleep with your girlfriend, so there’s that — but we say goodbye, Prince. Thanks for your contributions. Thanks for not putting out shitty second-rate metalcore albums. And thanks for caring about the art, something we need more of in every corner of the music world.
