It’s been four years since Gigan‘s last release, Multi-Dimensional Fractal-Sorcery and Super Science. But at last, the band are back! Undulating Waves of Rainbiotic Iridescence, the Chicago outfit’s latest offering, will be released this Friday, September 15 on Willowtip. The album may very well be the group’s most mind-expanding, mind-bending, mind-melting release to date, a blender of musical ideas sewn together in a way at once odd and coherent. It is progressive tech-death’s answer to Philip K. Dick; the music feels as though it actually might suck the listener in and transport him to another dimension. If Timothy Leary were alive, Gigan would be his jam.

MetalSucks is proud to debut Undulating Waves of Rainbiotic Iridescence, which you can stream below! (No one will blame you if you wait ’til 4:20.) Then pre-order it before its release on Friday: physical, digital.
