Norma Jean will head out on the road early next year to play their 2006 album Redeemer in full. Only one member currently in the band was involved with that album: vocalist Cory Brandan. While it certainly isn’t rare for bands to celebrate album anniversaries with new members, the fact that Norma Jean’s sound has changed so much since then — from Botch-inspired mathcore to something veering closer towards hard rock (which I like a lot, btw) — makes it interesting. But shit, the guys in the band now were probably huge fans of Redeemer when it came out so they’re probably as stoked as we all are.

Gideon, Toothgrinder and Greyhaven will support. Dates so far, with the band promising more to be announced soon:
