Left To Suffer Miss Show After Being Hit by Drunk Driver

0

Deathcore band Left To Suffer was forced to miss their Saturday night show after being involved in a motor vehicle accident with a drunk driver on their way to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The incident occurred at around 5 a.m. Saturday morning and thankfully, everyone with the band is unharmed.

According to a social media post following the accident, the drunk driver hit right where the band’s van and trailer were connected, causing the U-Haul with all their shit in it to get disconnected from the van and flip.

“Around 5AM this morning, we got into an accident. A drunk driver t-boned us coming off an on ramp, striking the back of the van and the trailer tongue, causing the trailer to separate and flip. Luckily, we’re okay with no serious injuries. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make the show in Oklahoma City, OK tonight.

“Please go support our homies in Gideon, Fox Lake and No Cure, and we will make it up to you later in time. We’ve been working nonstop on every option available so that we can be back on the road as soon as possible, and will keep everyone updated on this situation. Thank you everyone for your love and support.

“DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!!”

As is likely to happen after something like this, a GoFundMe for $8,000 was started to help the band recover and “lessen the financial blow” from the incident. If you’re so inclined or can afford to do so, you can contribute to the cause today.

Hopefully any equipment issues from the accident can be sorted out, as they still have a long run ahead of them.
