Slipknot: Chris Fehn’s Lawyer Says the Percussionist “Thought Everyone Was Being Treated Equally”

The Des Moines Register has landed a brief interview with Joseph Dunne, one of the attorneys representing percussionist Chris Fehn in his lawsuit against Slipknot. Fehn, you are no doubt aware, has alleged that other members of the band — specifically vocalist Corey Taylor and percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan — worked with their business manager, Rob Shore, to launch multiple Slipknot-related business entities of which Fehn was never made aware.

Says Dunne of the suit:

“[Fehn] thought everyone was being treated equally. My client really is just hoping to figure out a way to work this out with the people he’s worked side by side with for the last 20 years.”

Dunne goes on to say that “there has been no official change in Fehn’s employment with the band,” and that if the percussionist had his way, “he would remain a member.”
