Dark New DayDark New Day fans can breath a sigh of relief; as reported this morning on Blabbermouth.net, ex-Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery will finish up recording the new Dark New Day record before embarking on this summer’s trek as the touring guitarist for Korn. Lowery goes on to thank Korn for inviting him to play on the tour, and the members of Dark New Day for supporting his decision.

So what does this mean for the upcoming Dark New Day record? Most immediately it means that Lowery will be a part of the writing and recording process, which I think most fans will agree is a necessity for this band. It also quells the Internet rumors that Dark New Day may continue without Lowery. Can we expect the new record to be released by the end of the year? Let’s hope; these guys need to get back out on the road.
