WILL GENGHIS TRON SUCCEED WHERE THEIR NAMESAKES FAILED?

I don’t know much about Genghis Tron and probably never even would’ve thought to check their MySpace page if their singer didn’t write a pretty funny monthly column for Decibel chronicling life on tour. But I gotta say – I’m really diggin’ their blend of seething grindcore mixed with sudden outbursts of semi-ambient, dance inducing electronica. And I like how cleverly their name tells you what they’re all about – raw brutality mixed with high technology. I’ll have to do some more investigating in the coming weeks – and I urge you all to do the same…
