NEW CHILDREN OF BODOM SONG AVAILABLE FROM VIVA LA BANDS

Bam MargeraThe latest track from Bam Margera’s forthcoming compilation Viva La Bands, Volume 2 (Sept 4 – Ferret/Filthynote) has been released, and it’s another doozy, Children of Bodom’s “Tie My Rope.” I hate to say it, but it seems like the Jackass Prince actually has awesome taste in music aside from the abominable CKY (and really, it’s his brother, so I kind of don’t blame him). The CD also has new songs from In Flames, Clutch, and hair-revivalists Vains of Jenna, who Bam has waxed ecstatic about at length. There are also tunes by Dimmu Borgir and Gwar on the disc.

Margera is marginally responsible for bringing H.I.M. to the American masses; despite the band’s massive European success, they hadn’t enjoyed much popularity in the U.S. until Margera championed their cause. Here’s to hoping that In Flames, Children of Bodom and Clutch reach new ears as a result of this compilation, and that those ears don’t belong to karate-chopping 16 year-old fucktards.
