The Webernets

The split 7″ that the curly burlers in Mastodon and singer/songwriter Feist released on Record Store Day in April sold out in like a millisecond, so it’s no surprise that the songs from the split are now available for sale digitally. But this is a little bit shocking: the folks behind the split have produced a widget to promote it that’s actually fun and useful. Drag the mixer in the embed above back and forth to toggle between Feist and Mastodon’s version of Feist’s “A Commotion,” or just leave it in the middle to hear a mash-up of the two, my personal preference. I wasn’t too keen on this release when it came out but it’s really grown on me. Read Axl’s review.
