MOSH TO THE NEW VISION OF DISORDER ALBUM RIGHT NOW

In the words of the great Sergeant D., “legendary Long Island hardcore pioneers Vision of Disorder are back in full effect!” And now Metal Hammer is streaming The Cursed Remain Cursed, the band’s first studio album in over a decade — so you can get your mosh on more than a week in advance of its official release.

I’m only hearing the album for the first time myself via this stream, which I have blasting even as I type this. Four songs deep, though, and I’m pretty much ready to give Cursed a thumbs up. I’m sure Converge’s new album, All We Love We Leave Behind, is going to be killer, but beyond that, I can’t really name many hardcore albums that got my attention this year. (Unless you consider The Chariot hardcore I guess — generally speaking, I do not.) This was always going to be one of the most anticipated and discussed releases in that genre this year; I thank my lucky stars that it doesn’t disappoint.

Mosh here, then weigh in with your thoughts in the comments section below. The Cursed Remain Cursed comes out September 18 on Candlelight.
